"At Hardy K9s, we believe that keeping your dogs stimulated and engaged is crucial for their well-being. That's why we constantly update our activities and welcome suggestions from our clients. Our planting is an ongoing process that changes with the seasons, ensuring that you and your dog always have something new to explore and enjoy."

Chaos's Scent Challenge

Scent work is an excellent way to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation for your dog. It can help burn off excess energy and reduce behavioural problems while building your dog's confidence. Chaos has been playing scent games since he was 8 weeks old and he absolutely loves it. This activity is a fun and rewarding experience for both the dog and owner.

Trouble's Trail

Our dog, Trouble, was a true foodie at heart and he loved jumping over the kitchen gate a lot. So we have built a little trail in his honour to test the jumping skills of your dog.

Auditory Enrichment

In our sensory-rich environment for your dog we have incorporated various auditory stimuli such as wind chimes, rain makers, waterproof radio, doorbells, and bike bells in our field. This can help engage your dog and may even help desensitise them to sounds that may trigger them at home.

Ball Run

We have created a designated area for ball throwing that won't harm any of our plants or damage any equipment. Bring your dog and enjoy a game of fetch without any worries.

Strife's Sandpit

If you have a dog that loves to dig, you're not alone! Many dogs have a natural instinct to dig, and it can be a fun and rewarding activity for them. Our dog Strife is a prime example - she loved to dig and bury all sorts of things, from toys to food to rocks. And when she was done, she's was happy to lie in her handiwork and enjoy the fruits of her labour.

Sensory Plants

We are excited to announce that we are the process of planting a sensory garden for your dog to explore and enjoy. This project will take some time to fully flourish, but we are already planting dog-friendly plants such as lavender, rosemary, mint, lemon balm, wheatgrass, pansies, chamomile, meadowsweet, and thyme. These plants can provide various benefits such as potent smells, aiding digestion, boosting energy levels, providing visual stimulation, and helping with anxiety and stress. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!

Trigger Desensitisation

We have installed a few common triggers around the field to help dogs learn to ignore certain objects that may cause them to react. These objects include a bike, scarecrows, and even dummy animals.
